About Us

Legacy School of Ministry, a ministry of My Daily Bread Global, is designed to meet the needs of mature individuals who desire an alternative method of ministry training utilizing a virtual non-traditional platform approach. Our program is designed for students capable of independent self-study who are willing to assume personal responsibility for their education. Legacy School of Ministry students are provided with the necessary guidance to assist them in reaching their optimum ministry goals in a condensed period of time. Our curriculum is non-denominational, permitting you to acquire excellent knowledge of the Bible and practical knowledge about the implementation of the Christian faith and ministry. My Daily Bread Global believes an individual’s learning and work experiences can be measured and assessed for course credit and equivalence, permitting qualified students to test out of certain course requirements. Our primary objective is to provide practical meaningful Christian ministry instruction through long-distance virtual learning at an affordable price and a flexible schedule. Quality instruction is provided at a comfortable pace, promoting personal growth, self-expression, greater learning and demonstration of competence.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

PREREQUISITES TO ADMISSION
An applicant submit an Application for Enrollment and complete the Impact Shift process prior to completing semester one of Legacy School of Ministry. 
TIME REQUIREMENTS
Virtual class studies at Legacy School of Ministry are divided into semesters, each semester lasting 19 weeks. Two semesters are the equivalent of one year. Each student will commit to participating in the morning My Daily Bread Global Bible reading calls (minimum of 5 days/week), two LIVE teaching sessions each week held Monday & Thursday evenings, provide a summary of their learning on the weekly discussion board and comment on at least one other students discussion post, attendance at your local monthly Acts 20 Gathering as well as a monthly community service project of your choice (ie. Homeless outreach, volunteering to assist a widow, prison ministry, volunteer at your local congregation ministry event, hospital visit to pray for the sick, etc.) Our virtual learning program utilizes an open-entry, open-exit program. It is self-paced, providing all students an opportunity to advance as rapidly as his or her time and ability permit. Students may take as long as necessary to complete the two-year requirement for receiving a licensed minister status, however all courses and semesters must be completed within 4 years of the original start date.
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
Virtual students are allowed 4 absences from the LIVE training session per academic semester with the expectation that the student will watch the replay of the missed session within seven days of missing the live session.
GRADING
Legacy School of Ministry is based on a pass/fail basis. Students will receive a passing status once all live and recorded classes have been attended, discussion posts have been made and students participate in at least 5 required live daily Bible reading calls. Students who do not meet these requirements will receive a failing grade.
COURSE WORK
Course work requirements are completed by utilizing assigned texts, study guides, and standard examinations. Students will read the assigned text, work thorough the study guide and successfully complete the course examinations to receive credit for the course.

REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION
1. Course Work- All course work requirements will be successfully satisfied by submitting tests, study guides, & course examinations.
2. Payment of Fees- All tuition owed to Legacy School of Ministry must be paid in full prior to graduation.

LICENSES & CREDENTIALS
Legacy School of Ministry, a ministry of My Daily Bread Global exists to train Bible students, ministers, and church workers in the Christian faith. We are an independent institution not recognized by any other organization. Our ministry school teaching programs teach valuable, practical information derived from years of study and successful experience. Our programs are not designed to meet the requirements (if any) of particular licensing or credentialing laws or of any organization.

Students who successfully complete two years of ministry training with Legacy School of Ministry will be eligible to receive LICENSED MINISTER credentials recognized by My Daily Bread Global. Students who desire to receive ORDINATION credentials with My Daily Bread Global will be required to hold LICENSED MINISTER credentials for a minimum of two years prior to receiving ordination status.
CREDENTIALS EXPLAINED
My Daily Bread Global offers ministerial licensure that fits each with individual's unique needs, experience level, and ministry situation.

Exhorter — One who is a beginner in ministry. Exhorters are required by policy to receive minimal religious training or pastoral mentoring, before changing their licensing level. ($175 annually)

Licensed Minister — Any minister who is not ordained who has been qualified to perform ministerial duties with limited supervision such as prison ministry, hospital visits, missions trips, etc. ($275 annually)

Ordained — One who is ordained, to perform sacerdotal duties, with supporting valid documentation of date and place of ordination submitted with the application. My Daily Bread Global accepts ordinations from other associations and individual churches that are in the United States. ($300 annually)

Theology 101 - The Gospel & Jesus
This foundational course introduces students to the person and work of Jesus Christ through the lens of the Gospel and His most influential teaching: the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5–7). Over the term, students will explore key themes such as the Kingdom of God, the Beatitudes, righteousness, prayer, forgiveness, spiritual formation, and the call to live as salt and light in the world.

Leadership 101- Servant Leadership Practicum
This introductory course lays the foundation for biblical leadership by teaching that effective spiritual leadership flows first from personal leadership. Students will learn how character, integrity, self-discipline, and spiritual maturity shape their ability to influence others for Christ. Through Scripture, discussion, and practical application, the class emphasizes servant leadership—leading from humility, example, and love. Students will be encouraged and equipped to lead themselves well, serve others faithfully, and steward their God-given calling with wisdom and grace.

Bible 101- The Word of God
Students will fulfill this requirement by attending live morning Bible calls at least 5 days a week and writing a summary of the call due each Monday evening for previous weeks sessions.

Christian Formation 101 - Devotion & Spiritual Disciplines
These sessions are intended to  guide students into a deeper, daily devotion to Jesus through the practice of spiritual disciplines. Scripture reading, prayer, worship, fasting, community, and obedience will be explored as pathways to transformation. Students will learn how spiritual rhythms shape their thoughts, strengthen their hearts, and form Christlike character. The goal of this course is not information alone, but transformation: cultivating a life anchored in Jesus, filled with the Holy Spirit, and faithful to God in every season.

Marriage & Family 101
This course explores the biblical foundations of marriage, parenting, and family life, emphasizing their vital in the body of Christ. Students will examine God's design for covenant relationships, healthy communication, spiritual leadership in the home, and raising healthy children in faith. Practical teaching, scriptural insight, and real-life applications will equip students to build strong marriages, and families that reflect Christ,, strengthen the Church, and impact generations.

Supernatural Empowerment 101 - The Ministry of Prophecy
This course introduces students to the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit with a special emphasis on biblical prophecy. Together we will explore what Scripture teaches about prophetic ministry, how to discern God’s voice, and how to communicate prophetic words with love, humility, and accuracy. Students will learn the purpose of prophecy in strengthening, encouraging, and comforting the Church, while cultivating a lifestyle of purity, prayer, and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Practical teaching, activation, and ministry moments will equip students to walk confidently in the prophetic with wisdom and grace.

Theology 102 - The Holy Spirit
This course explores the person, presence, and power of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer and the Church. Students will study the Spirit’s work in salvation, sanctification, spiritual gifts, guidance, and daily Christian living. Emphasis will be placed on developing a biblical understanding of the Holy Spirit, cultivating sensitivity to His voice, and walking in the Spirit with confidence and joy. Through Scripture, prayer, and practical application, students will be equipped to recognize Holy Spirit’s activity, respond in faith, and partner with Him in ministry.

Leadership 102- Leading Others & Building Teams
This course builds on the foundations of personal and servant leadership by equipping students to lead others with clarity, compassion, and spiritual authority. Students will learn practical skills for developing teams, communicating vision, delegating responsibility, and fostering unity. Emphasis is placed on leading through influence rather than position, and cultivating a culture of honor, discipleship, and shared mission. By the end of the course, students will be prepared to empower others, strengthen the body of Christ, and advance the Kingdom through healthy, Spirit-led leadership.

Christian Formation 102 - Growing In Christ-likeness
Christian Formation 102 deepens the journey of transformation by focusing on how believers grow in Christlike character and maturity. Students will explore themes such as identity in Christ, emotional and spiritual health, community, and the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit. The course emphasizes developing habits of grace that continually shape the heart, renew the mind, and strengthen the believer’s walk. The goal is to become more like Jesus in thoughts, attitudes, and actions, living a life that reflects His love and truth in every sphere of influence.
