What does it mean to truly prepare ourselves before entering the presence of God? In this session, we journey through Leviticus 16 and discover that the ancient rituals of the Day of Atonement were never just ceremonial formalities. They were a profound declaration that approaching a holy God requires intentionality, humility, and a rightly positioned heart. The high priest could not simply walk into the Most Holy Place whenever he pleased. Every detail mattered. Every instruction had to be followed precisely. And that same principle echoes powerfully into our lives today. We are challenged to ask ourselves honestly: how are we presenting ourselves before the Lord? Are we rushing into His presence with distracted minds and unexamined hearts, or are we pausing to lay down every weight, confess every wandering, and posture ourselves in genuine surrender? The beauty of the New Covenant is that we no longer need animal sacrifices or linen garments, but the call to come before God with clean hands and a pure heart has never been more relevant. This session reminds us that preparation is not a religious ritual but an act of love and reverence toward the One who gave everything for us.
