Stephen's bold proclamation in Acts 7 shows us how to present the gospel by taking people through history, from Abraham to Moses to Jesus, revealing God's consistent pattern of interrupting history to win hearts back. His willingness to die for Christ while forgiving his persecutors epitomizes Christ-likeness. In Hebrews 9, we discover the security of our salvation—Jesus paid it all, once and for all. The manna, Aaron's staff, and the tablets of the covenant all pointed to Him. Finally, Revelation 16 warns us to stay awake and keep our garments on. The transformation we experience at the table of the Lord isn't meant to end when we close our Bibles. We're called to live differently, to let righteousness define our daily lives. When temptation comes after mountaintop moments, will we remain clothed in the garments of praise? The challenge is clear: if someone followed us for 24 hours outside of church, would they encounter Jesus through the way we live?
