Today's journey through Scripture invites us to consider the incredible intentionality of God's design—from the intricate blueprint of the tabernacle to the temple of our own bodies. As we read through Exodus 26's detailed instructions for building the tabernacle, we're reminded that God cares deeply not just about what we do for Him, but how we do it. Every curtain, every clasp, every measurement was specified with purpose. This same meticulous care went into designing each of us as living temples where the Holy Spirit now dwells. The progression from the physical tabernacle to our bodies as temples reveals God's ultimate plan: to dwell intimately with His people. The cherubim that once guarded access to God's presence, the veil that separated the holy from the most holy—all pointed forward to Jesus, whose death tore that veil and removed every barrier between us and our Father. We're challenged to ask ourselves: if such beauty and precision went into the original tabernacle, how are we honoring the temple we've become? Are we treating our bodies, minds, and spirits with the reverence they deserve as dwelling places of the Most High? This passage calls us to patience in God's planning process, reminding us that when we follow His blueprint rather than rushing ahead with our own designs, the result will reflect His glory and stand the test of time.
