What does it look like to truly respond to everything God has invested in us? That question sits at the heart of this session, drawing us through four powerful passages of Scripture that together paint a picture of covenant love, divine faithfulness, and the call to build something that outlasts our own lives. We open in Micah 6, where God does something remarkable: He puts Himself on trial and invites His people to answer for their indifference. He recounts the years of deliverance, the leaders He raised up, the miracles He performed, and then asks a question that still echoes today: what have I done to you, and how have I wearied you? The famous instruction in Micah 6:8, to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with God, lands differently when we understand it as a response to relentless divine generosity rather than a checklist of religious duty. From there, Isaiah 25 lifts our eyes toward what God is building toward: a feast for all nations, the swallowing up of death forever, and the tender image of God wiping every tear from every face. That image of proximity, of how close you must be to someone to wipe their tears, becomes a window into the kind of nearness Jesus is moving us toward. The session closes with a stirring reflection on waiting on God, reminding us that to wait is not to sit passively but to pursue, to worship, and to press in with everything we have.
