What does it look like when God uses the most unexpected circumstances to draw us back to Himself? Today we journey through four powerful passages of Scripture that together weave a single, urgent thread: faithfulness, obedience, and the relentless redemptive pursuit of God. We open in Hosea 1, where God commands something that seems scandalous on the surface, asking a prophet to marry an unfaithful woman as a living symbol of Israel's spiritual unfaithfulness. Yet even in that hard word, hope breaks through. God never ends the story in judgment. He always moves toward restoration. From there we step into Acts 17, where we witness what it looks like to carry the gospel into spaces that do not yet know it, speaking truth with wisdom, boldness, and compassion, using the very scriptures that had always pointed to the Messiah. Then 1 Peter 1 calls us upward, reminding us that holiness is not a Sunday experience but a daily posture, a lifestyle of obedience that produces visible fruit. And finally, Daniel 4 confronts us with one of the most dramatic stories in all of Scripture, a powerful king stripped of everything until humility restores his sanity and his throne. Taken together, these four chapters ask us a direct question: Are we walking in faithful obedience, or are we drifting? And no matter where we find ourselves, the answer from Scripture is clear. There is always a way back.
