This powerful session takes us on a journey through Scripture that reveals God's relentless pursuit of His people across all dimensions of life. Beginning with Ezekiel's prophecy against the mountains of Israel, we encounter God's passionate desire to reclaim the high places that were meant for His worship but had been corrupted by idolatry. The phrase 'you shall know that I am the Lord' echoes throughout, reminding us that even God's judgment stems from His heart to bring us back to Himself. Moving into Luke 19, we witness Zacchaeus's undignified climb up a tree to see Jesus, challenging us to ask ourselves: are we willing to become undignified for Jesus? The disciples' proclamation of 'Hosanna, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord' stands as a bold declaration that if we remain silent, even the stones will cry out. This connects beautifully with Colossians 2, which reminds us that we are complete in Christ, possessing all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge in Him. The session culminates in Revelation 17, where we see the final corruption of the mountains, the temple, and the self combined into a world intoxicated by counterfeit glory. Yet the promise remains: the Lamb will conquer, and those who are called, chosen, and faithful will be with Him. This reading challenges us to examine what we marvel at, what captures our attention, and whether we are making Jesus the main thing in every mountain of influence in our lives.
