What does it mean to truly walk close to God, and what does that closeness require of us? This session takes us through a powerful journey across Amos 3, Isaiah 8, 1 Chronicles 4, and Revelation 11, weaving together a single, urgent thread: the condition of our hearts before a God who sees everything. In Amos 3, we are confronted with the sobering reality that proximity to God carries weight. The closer we are to Him, the greater our accountability. But rather than letting that truth drive us away, we are invited to let it draw us in, because walking straighter is not a burden we have to carry, it is a gift we get to receive. We explore how God never stops speaking, how He warns, corrects, and calls us back, and how His discipline is never cruelty but always love. The lion roars not to destroy, but to awaken. And if we find ourselves wandering in darkness with no dawn in sight, this session asks us to examine what, or who, we have been listening to instead of Him.
