Today's readings take us on a powerful journey through Zechariah 6, Isaiah 43, 2 Chronicles 14, and Revelation 12, weaving together a tapestry of divine instruction, prophetic confirmation, and spiritual warfare. We're reminded that God's timeline rarely matches our expectations—sometimes He gives us clear signposts along our journey, and other times He calls us to walk by faith through long seasons of waiting. The central challenge presented is profound: What are the secret places in our lives where we refuse to ask God for help? What Asherah poles and pagan altars have we allowed to remain standing in our hearts? Like King Asa who didn't do the job halfway but completely removed every foreign altar and high place, we're called to radical obedience. The imagery is striking—we cannot build God's kingdom on compromised foundations. When we try to construct our lives on things God has called us to remove, we create layers of confusion that future generations must heal from. The promise is beautiful: when we fully surrender and remove what doesn't honor God, we enter into His peace—not the peace of comfortable circumstances, but the supernatural peace that comes as a gift from the throne room in the midst of chaos. This is our moment to rise up with courage and declare that anything not honoring our Father has no place in our lives today, tomorrow, or in the legacy we leave behind.
