Isaiah 47 confronts us with the fate of Babylon, showing how God will judge those systems and spirits that have led His people astray. The occult, astrology, and enchantments offer no real help in times of crisis; only the Lord holds our future. Second Chronicles 18 presents the sobering story of 400 prophets speaking lies versus one prophet speaking truth, challenging us to discern between voices that tickle our ears and the voice that saves our lives. Finally, Revelation 16 depicts the seven bowls of God's wrath, reminding us that even in judgment, God is calling people to repentance.
