What happens when God closes a door, sends a warning, and we still press forward anyway? In this session, we walk through Numbers 22 and the remarkable account of Balaam, a man whose gift was real but whose heart was being tested. The story is far more than a talking donkey. It is a piercing look at how God will place obstacles, close paths, and even send angels to stand against us when our way has become reckless before Him. We are reminded that the authority and gifting God places on our lives is not for sale, not for prestige, and not for personal gain. It exists to be stewarded faithfully, spoken only as the Lord directs. We also see something powerful in the fear that gripped the Moabites as Israel approached. That picture challenges us to ask whether we are so full of the Holy Spirit, so actively making disciples, that the enemy looks at us and has to rethink his strategy. The spiritual life is not passive. It is a forward march, and this passage calls us to walk boldly in the identity and authority we carry as children of God.
