What does it mean to truly possess an inheritance? Across four powerful chapters of scripture, a single golden thread runs through everything we explored together: the inheritance God has set aside for each of us, and our responsibility to receive it, steward it, and pass it down. From the daughters of Zelophad in Numbers 36, who trusted so deeply in God's promise that they were already planning for land they had not yet stepped foot on, to the returning exiles in Ezra 2, who came home after decades of captivity and immediately brought voluntary offerings to rebuild the house of God, we see what it looks like to hold onto hope when circumstances say otherwise. The second generation of Israelites standing at the edge of the promised land did not waver. They believed. And that belief challenges us to ask ourselves whether we are living with that same forward-facing faith, stewarding what God has given us and setting up those who come after us to receive even more. Whether it is the inheritance of a relationship with Jesus, the gifts He has placed in our hands, or the legacy we are building for our families, the call is the same: receive it, protect it, grow it, and give it away generously.
