Aaron's compromise reveals how easily we can cave to pressure and water down truth to avoid offense. Yet we also see Moses standing in the gap, pleading with God on behalf of a rebellious people—a beautiful foreshadowing of Jesus our intercessor. The call today is clear: choose Jesus, not just once, but daily. As we navigate grief, pressure, and uncertainty, we must guard against making emotional decisions that lead us away from wholehearted devotion. The invitation is to make our choice distinct and clear—Jesus and Jesus only.
